Quality of Life
At Casa Mia we aim to provide each client with appropriate care and support for as long as they require our service. We complete a needs assessment prior to offering placement and this is done in collaboration with the client, their care team and their chosen relatives or friends. A package of care is then identified and care plans are made collaboratively with the client to ensure personal wishes, goals and interests are maintained.
Our aim is to help our clients to feel safe, comfortable and secure, and to feel a sense of belonging in their own home. Clients are encouraged to participate in all decision making, this can be through care reviews, clients meetings or quality assurance questionnaires.
We aim to offer our clients every opportunity to achieve an enjoyable quality of life both within the home and the wider community. Supporting clients to find meaningful activities and occupations they look forward to doing.
Every person needs a reason to get up in the morning, a purpose and hope for a positive future. We work with the client to empower them & help them obtain a feeling of self worth.
1:1 Personalised Support
Our specialist staff team enable 1:1 physical and mental health support to be offered on a daily basis both within the home and out in the community.
We aim to support our clients to develop and maintain independence. This may be in the areas of self care, shopping, cooking, budgeting or leisure activities.
Dignity and choice are at the core of all care planning and reflect someones personal and cultural beliefs.
1:1 support is provided by our team. This includes support workers, team leaders, an occupational therapist and a occupational therapy and physiotherapy student led therapy programme. This support enables clients to fulfil their own goals.
